Two armed robbers struck again Thursday night at the Quick Buys on Whigham Dairy Road at MLK Jr Drive at about 9:40 pm.

Scenes from the robbery
The 2 robbers came in with dark masks covering their face in all dark clothing with guns drawn.  They ordered a customer to stay still and the clerk to give them the money.

The robbers handcuffed the clerk to the door and took off on foot heading west.  The 2nd store employee and the store's customer both called 911 immediately.

Sheriff's Deputy Steve Singleton arrived on scene in less than a minute of the call going out, freed the clerk, and secured the scene.  Public Safety officers swarmed the area and with Sheriff's Deputies secured a perimeter around the wooded area just west of the store.

The tracking dog from ACI, Apalachee Correctional Institute in Sneads FL with Sgt. Charles Sneads, Adam Mercer, Travis Hatcher  were quickly on their way to assist.  The dog got on the track but did not have far to go.  The track led directly to a driveway about 75 yards away in front of 3 abandoned houses on MLK Jr Drive.  It was assumed there was a car waiting for their escape.

Sheriff's and Public Safety Investigators arrived as well as GBI Special Agent Mike Walsingham.  CSI Gale Bowyer processed the store and the tracks found in the driveway area.
