After a number of domestic disturbance calls over 24 hours, 27 year old Terrence Lakeith Allen finally ended up in County Jail on Sunday night.
The current string of 911 calls began early Sunday morning, at about 3 am.
Public Safety Officers responded to Terrence Allen breaking out a window and generally tearing up the house at 521 E Pine Street. Allen was gone when officers arrived and his girlfriend stated she did not want to press charges.
Public Safety Officers responded to 911 calls over the next couple of hours because Terrence was back at the house. Each time they searched the area without finding Terrence Allen.
Then at about 4 pm Sunday afternoon, 911 reported that Terrence Allen had hit his 32 year old girlfriend with a baseball bat and busted the window out of her vehicle. The victim reported to Sgt Ray Cox and Officer Collin Hastey that, after a disagreement, she was in her car.
She stated that Allen picked up a baseball bat and hit her through her car window, cutting her face and neck with the shattered glass, then assaulting her. The incident was believed to have occurred in front of several small children and neighbors that had begun to congregate and watch the incident. Neighbors, however, told officers they didn't see anything.
Sgt Cox and Officer Hastey searched the house and found Terrence Allen hiding in a bedroom closet underneath a blanket. Officers retrieved the weapon, with glass fragments still on the bat, and took pictures of the victim's injuries.
Officer Hastey charged Terrence Lakeith Allen, 27, of 521 E Pine Street with criminal trespass, battery and disorderly conduct.
He bonded out of Public Safety. Literally minutes later, Terrence Allen was back at 521 E Pine Street.
Public Safety officers again responded and found the victim assaulted with a busted lip. Officers searched the area as well as other locations where he may have fled with no luck.
Then nothing from Terrence Allen until about 11 pm Sunday night when he showed up again at 521 E Pine Street. Allen was still on the property when Officers arrived. Sgt Marvin Knight and Officers Ryan Deen and Brent Haire arrested Allen a 2nd time in 8 hours.
This time, after being booked at Public Safety, he was transported to County Jail for the night.
