GSP Saves Guinea Pig

OK, admit it, you don't think GSP Officers have a heart.  So let me prove you wrong.

Last week Georgia State Patrol Cpl Kyle Duke was patrolling some of the out of the way roads in Decatur County.  He saw what he thought was a pile of trash and got out to check it.

 

What he found was an abandoned guinea pig in a cage.  Cpl Duke loaded up the starving animal and transported her to the animal shelter.

The Bainbridge Humane Society thanks Cpl Kyle Duke for his kind actions.

They have named it Babe and she is available for adoption.  And yes, when you adopt her, you may rename her .... well, whatever you would like.
