Heat Wins Bat Shootout IV

On Sept. 7th, Panhandle Heat Gold 12u won the Bat Shootout IV held in Donalsonville Ga. These young ladies competed amongst teams from Ga, Ala, and Fla where they went undefeated scoring 44 runs and only giving up 1 run in 5 games.

Standout performance came from Desirae Beachem who went 11 for 12 with 3 triples and 3 doubles. The team is comprised of 7 girls from Bainbridge, 2 from Chipley Fla, 1 from Tallahassee Fl, and 1 from Enterprise Ala. Panhandle Heat would like to invite everyone to come out to support them at their upcoming events. They will be in Troy Al 9-14, Enterprise Al 9-21, and Dothan Al 9-28. Panhandle Heat will also hold tryouts 9-15-2013 at 2pm CT in Sneads Fla for 10u, 12u, 14u, and 16u for anyone interested please Contact Coach Fred Lanphere  1-850-559-8660.
