Many Bainbridge residents have had to deal with stressful situations since Fay first arrived in our area. Some have been flooded out of their homes, some involved in automobile wrecks, and many living without power for several days. Even though Fay is officially gone from our area the affects still seem to linger on.

On Tuesday afternoon around 1:30, a hard rain hit the city again and with it apparently a strong wind. It was enough to up root a large tree causing it to crash through the Jackson home on College Avenue. Several members of the Jackson household were at home but no one was injured.

This isn't the first time the Jacksons have had to deal with a damaged home. On December 19th the Jacksons' home was destroyed in a house fire on Bruton Street. That fire took everything they had and they were finally getting back on their feet when the tree fell on their house today.
