Throughout the weekend there were a number of fights reported both in the city and county.  One that began on Cyrene Road at about 3:30 am was reported to be a gang fight.

Sheriff's Deputies arrived to find they had just left Cyrene Road and were on their way to Bainbridge to finish their fight.  A few minutes later, a large fight was reported in a west Shotwell Street parking lot.  Public Safety responded but it had broken up before they could arrive.

Sunday evening
Public Safety Officers Greg Brown and Demetric Stubbs responded to a fight at Burger King.  A fight apparently occurred due to escalating events that have occurred but not reported.

Public Safety reports state that a juvenile had entered the restaurant to speak to his mother who was there with a church group.  He looked outside to Jonathan Sirmons so he and BJ Grubbs exited to "see what was up".  As they were exiting, Sirmons started approaching the juvenile in an aggressive manner.

BJ told Jonathan that he knew he was there to cause trouble and he needed to leave before something got started. By now the whole church group was outside in the parking lot for the confrontation.  Sirmons started walking away and then turned around, extended a finger, and shouted xxck you.

The juvenile reported he was not going to let Jonathan Sirmons do that in front of his mother so he swung at him and the fight was on.  Friends from both sides jumped in to help.

In the end, Lex Parrish and Jonathan Sirmons were charged with disorderly conduct and released on bail. Two juveniles were charged with disorderly conduct and released to their parents per DJJ.

Sunday afternoon
A mother reported to Public Safety Officer Pat Bryant that her 27 year old son had been assaulted at Pinecrest Mobile Home Park on West Street.  The son reported to the officer he was fine and would say nothing else but another individual spoke up.

It was told that this stemmed from a disagreement last week and that it was the same males as then.
