Two Busted for Mfg Meth

Two were busted for manufacturing meth when Decatur County Sheriff's investigators discovered them in possession of materials to manufacture the drug.

On Wednesday, Sheriff's Captain Chip Nix discovered that Christopher Cain and Deidra Hawkins were purchasing a supply of pseudoephedrine, found in cold tablets, from a number of stores.

Captain Nix and Investigator Cheryl Roberts located the two at their residence on E Griffin Avenue in Attapulgus.  In the shed behind the home, investigators discovered that the ingredients and materials used to make methamphetamine.  In a search, investigators also located an amount of meth.
