The largest crowd ever to attend an event at the Boat Basin enjoyed tremendous entertainment and a great fireworks show Wednesday night.  The Leigh Mullis Band opened for Jason Aldean and fireworks concluded the night.

Parking was where ever you could find a place.  Cheney Griffin Park and beyond the Boat Basin was full.  Vehicles filled the sides of Shotwell St plus every inch of the on and off ramps to the Bypass.  A number of local residents opted to see the fireworks from the Spring Creek side of the River.  Even with the 10,000 plus people attending, there were very few incidents and no traffic accidents getting everyone out of the venue.
