Less than a week after being arrested in the Wal-Mart parking lot for a Crawford Road burglary, the same 2 juveniles were arrested on Wednesday. Last week, the Department of Juvenile Justice immediately released them to their parents after they were charged with the car burglary where a pistol was stolen and then sold.
Now Decatur County Sheriff's Deputies have implicated the 2 juveniles in a string of car burglaries that occurred throughout Decatur County.
On Tuesday night between midnight and 3 am, probably 10 car burglaries occurred in the River Oaks subdivision, off Spring Creek Road. Several thousand dollars of items were stolen from vehicles including cash, credit cards, blackberries, CD's and in-car GPS devices.

Investigators found the 2 juveniles, pictured above at their arrest last week, along with 17 year old Joshua "Beachball" Jackson, at left, with items stolen in the burglaries.
Sheriff's Captain Chip Nix stated investigators went to 112 Aaron Road, just off Dothan Road, and found the three with their car. In a search of the vehicle, a number of items stolen in the previous night's burglaries were found.
Sheriff's investigators have implicated them in more burglaries and are working to clear a large number of other Decatur County and City of Bainbridge car burglaries.
Investigators are also working to connect other juveniles/adults to this gang of thieves. On Wednesday, it became all too clear they will not stop until they are behind bars.
