Bainbridge Public Safety busted individuals involved with 2 separate drug dealers last week.
Thursday
Chief Investigator Frank Green received information that a quantity of crack cocaine would be transported from Donalsonville to Bainbridge by a man named Jim. He was described as an older gray haired white male and would be driving an Eddie Bauer series Ford Explorer.
On Thursday afternoon, Sgt. Jack Bunting stopped the vehicle. Investigators searched the vehicle and seized over $1,000 worth of crack cocaine.
The driver was identified as 62 year old James Arthur Tipton of 3054 Eldorendo Road, Colquitt. Investigators arrested James Tipton for possession of cocaine with intent to distribute.
Friday
BPS investigators had received information that drugs was being sold from the residence of a number of Haitian individuals on Helen Street.
On Friday afternoon Investigators Chris Jordan, James Dollar, Mark Esquivel, Alton Brock, Sgt. Ryan Wimberley and Chief Investigator Frank Green executed a search warrant at 716 Helen Street.
Upon entry, investigators detained the numerous individuals that were inside the residence and began a search of the residence. Investigators located a substantial amount of cocaine, crack cocaine, marijuana, and a handgun. They also seized a large amount of cash.
Investigators arrested 45 year old Alma Denise Emilca of Belle Glade, FL. She was charged with possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime, possession Of marijuana with intent and possession of cocaine with intent.
