A crash at Highway 27 north and Bethel Road sent 2 to the hospital with non life threatening injuries on Monday evening.
Eric Malone, 18, was heading south on Highway 27 about 8 pm. At the intersection of Bethel Road, 20 year old Demetrice Shuler pulled in front of Mr Malone's pickup.
The Subaru driven by Ms Shuler did a semi circle as indicated by the skid marks. The car continued all the way across the highway ending up off the road on the opposite side. Sgt Jack Bunting worked the crash. Sgt Bunting stated that Ms Shuler was dazed in the crash and could not remember where she was coming from or going to. The crash scene indicated she was traveling west on Bethel.
The blue pickup, driven by Mr Malone of Climax, continued south, going into the ditch area and ending up on the side of the roadway.
