After a nice day on the river, your jeep in the water is the last thing you want to see.

short video of car pulled from water

Late Saturday afternoon, a Bainbridge resident was in his boat preparing it to be pulled onto his trailer.  His jeep and trailer were backed down to the water.  His 6 year old was in the jeep when all of a sudden it started rolling back towards the water.

In the parking lot, Gina Williams, sitting, and off duty Public Safety Officer Collin Hastey heard the yelling and ran to help.

Gina never hesitated jumping into the water and helped the 6 year old out of the car and onto the dock.

It was a few anxious minutes but all were fine.  After diving down to hook his chains, Gator Bryant pulled the jeep and trailer from the water.
