One of the outstanding young tennis players in Bainbridge is 9 year old Taylor Greene.

She has been playing tennis for 6 years and is presently ranked 37th in Georgia for girls 10 singles.

Some of her most recent tournament wins were Girls 12 singles in last weekend's Thomasville Rotary Jr. Championship Tennis Tournament, Girls 10 Albany's PineForest Jr. Championship Tennis Tournament in April and Girls 10 Bainbridge Jr. Championship Tennis Tournament in February.

Taylor was a member of Bainbridge's State Championship team that won the 2007 USTA Jr. Team Tennis in Macon, Georgia.  She was undefeated in singles during her championship matches.  She was also undefeated in singles play this year for Grace Christian's middle school team.

Taylor is the daughter of Davis and Lee Greene of Bainbridge and granddaughter of Butch and Anne Wilson of Bainbridge.
