About 11:45 pm Wednesday night, Public Safety responded to an alarm at Las Lomas convenience store at 801 E Water Street.

The culprit pried and broke out half the drive thru window.  The burglar apparently cut himself on the glass during the break-in.  (blood visible below window)

The burglar reached through the window and grabbed between 125 and 150 lottery tickets.

Investigator James Dollar stated officers located one suspect near the scene who he questioned.

Investigator Dollar, at left with Captain Robert Humphrey and Officer Kenneth Ellison, collected blood and fingerprint evidence from the broken glass and frame.

Investigator Dollar stated his investigation is continuing with some solid leads in the case.
