About 2:30 am Thursday night a semi trailer caught fire in the 2700 block of Dothan Road.

Decatur County Fire and Brinson volunteers as well as Sheriff's Deputies responded.  The fire was under control in a matter of minutes.  Deputy Anthony Mims stated it appeared the brakes got too hot and started the fire.  There was concern regarding the small diesel fuel tank for the trailer refrigeration unit.    Deputies secured the highway until approximately 5 am.
