In memory of Amanda 'Mandy' Regan, the clubs of Bainbridge High School will be hosting a 5K run on Sunday, March 21, in front of the Bainbridge Middle School (formerly Bainbridge High School) on College Street.

Mandy was a paraprofessional at Bainbridge High School and also served as the prom director and a color guard coach.

The run is a fitting tribute to Mandy Regan. The day of her fatal accident, she had run in a Memorial Day 5K. It was a fundraiser for the BHS Cross Country teams and, according to those with her, she was very proud that she completed the race and received a 2nd place medal.

Registration begins at 2 pm and the race begins at 3 pm. The cost is $15 if you are entering one of the races.  You may register for the 5K until 2:45 pm the day of the race. Anyone who has already registered will not have to register again.

If your registration form and money are at the high school by Friday, March 19 at 3 pm, you will be guaranteed a t-shirt.

If you cannot participate in the 5K, but you would like to purchase a shirt, contact Mandi O'Mara at BHS (248-2230) or email her. The cost of the shirt is $10. Please make checks payable to: "BHS", and for: "AR 5K".  Download the registration form.

This 5K is a benefit run, so walkers, joggers, and racers are all welcome. Strollers are also welcome!

If you aren't participating in the run but would like to make a monetary donation or have any questions, please contact Mrs. Mandi O'Mara by email or 229-248-2230
