The complainant reported to Sgt William Cox that on Jan 12th at 1 pm she saw Gary Hurst stealing stuff from the back of the Salvation Army. The complainant advised she wanted to ban Gary from the Salvation Army.

Sheriff's Sgt Jason Williams responded to a report of employee theft at Bishops Travel Center. The complainant advised that an ex-employee, India Chambers, had stolen an unknown amount of $10 and $20 scratch-off lottery tickets. India had been scratching the tickets and scanning them to see if they were winners. When confronted by the complainant, she said her uncle had paid for them. The complainant advised he would have to do an audit to verify the amount, but he was sure India had stolen over $500 worth of tickets.

Officer Toby Miller responded to a burglary on the 900 block of North Street. The victim advised she returned home from work and found her 32" flat screen TV missing.
January 21
Officer John Mills was dispatched to the 1300 block of Talmadge Street in reference to a burglary. The victim and her husband had been at work and when she returned home and she noticed the front porch light was off. She went to change it, but it was only unscrewed. Then the victim noticed the following items had been stolen - 32" flat screen TV, Sony Playstation, Nintendo Wii, video games, and DVDs. The total value was $1220.
January 20 -- NOTE
The victim reported a computer trespass to Officer Ken Williams. The victim stated that someone with a foreign accent called her and told her she had a computer virus that he could fix. The victim followed his instructions, but the steps he provided completely messed up her computer.
He then tried to get her to purchase a program to fix the problem. The victim refused, assuming he probably just wanted her credit card number, and said she would contact an antivirus company. Attempts were made to call the caller back, but the number was disconnected.
January 20
Sheriff's Captain Greg McMillan responded to a burglary on the 1500 block of Newton Road. The complainant advised that someone had stolen 2 portable air nailers, portable air tank, table saw, cordless battery powered passloads, a 44 Magnum, 270 rifle with a Bushnell scope, 22 caliber rifle, 50 lb thrust trolling motor, punch router, 2 DeWalt drills, and a remote control A/C unit from a room connected to his garage. Then a day later, someone also stole a GPS and a bottle of generic Oxycoton from his car. The total value was $3,185.

Officer Aaron Brown responded to a report of reckless conduct on the 1600 block of East Pine Street.

Officer Jason Barlow responded to a domestic dispute on the 200 block of Love Street. The victim stated that she and two other people, all juveniles, were getting off a school bus. The victim was confronted by another female who asked why she was telling people she was retarded. The victim was telling her she was not talking about her when the female began to hit her.
George Few, age 30, was reported coming out of his house with a knife and threatening to cut one of the girls. He chased them with the knife all the way to West Street. There, it was stated that Bennie Myrick came out into the street and said he was going to fight George.
When Officer Barlow spoke with George, he denied having a knife and chasing the kids down the street, but he and one of the kids did agree that the other girl was trying to start a fight. They stated the three girls and Benny came into the yard and tried to fight George. George also stated Benny pulled his pants down in front of them. No charges were made due to the conflicting accounts.

Officer Darren Heard responded to a car theft on the 1000 block of Bethel Road at about 7:30 am. The victim stated she went to take her kids to school that morning and found her black Ford Crown Victoria, valued at $2500, missing. The victim verified her son didn't have the car and stated she didn't hear any strange noises the night before.
Also at about 7:30 am, a report of an a crash was reported. Officers responded to Cheney Griffin Park where they found the black Crown Victoria hanging over the embankment near the river.
January 18
Deputy Richard Hughes responded to a burglary on the 2900 block of Vada Road. The victim stated he came home from work around 5:15 pm and found his home had been broken into. Missing items include a Sony Playstation 3, 14 Playstation games, 32" TV, 8 Blue Ray movies, and 2 HDMI cables. Candle holders were also busted in the bedroom. The total value of the missing items is $1775.

Deputy Charlie Emmanuel Jr. was dispatched to the Quick Buys on Whigham Dairy Road to a report of counterfeit money. The complainant stated she was given a fake $10 bill from a female. When contacted, the female stated she received the counterfeit bill as change for a $20 bill at a local restaurant.

BPS Sgt William Cox responded to a report of counterfeit money at a local bank. The complainant stated they received a counterfeit $20 from a Kangaroo store. It is currently unknown who used the bill at the store.

Officer Thomas Foster observed 23 year-old Rakim Bouie on Broughton Street with his undergarments visible above his shorts. Officer Foster placed Rakim under arrest for indecent exposure and ordered him to place his hands on the hood of the police car. Rakim did, but then took off running. Rakim Bouie was able to evade the officer and got away. Warrants have been issued for his arrest.

BPS Sgt William Cox responded to a theft on the 300 block of Cemetery Street. The victim stated the front left wheel of her white 2001 Ford Crown Victoria was stolen. The tire and wheel are valued at $200.

The victim came to Bainbridge Public Safety and spoke with Officer Randall Carr about a theft. The victim advised 3 of his trailer tags from his utility trucks in the 1600 block of Broughton Street had been stolen over the last few months.

Officer Thomas Foster responded to a burglary on the 200 block of W. Alice Street. The victim stated someone stole a 13” Dora the Explorer TV, valued at $35, and Oatmeal Cream Pies, valued at $5, from his business. The intruder got in by kicking in the rear door of the business.

BPS Sgt William Cox met with the complainant in reference to a theft. The complainant reported a gold wedding band and an engagement ring, total value $2200, had been stolen from her home. No break-ins had occurred at the complainant’s apartment, but she did advise that someone cleans her home weekly. One week, the cleaner’s daughter and her friend cleaned the apartment instead...

Officer Taylor Mills spoke with a complainant on the phone about an incident reported earlier in the day. The complainant stated her brother, D.J. Dollar, became upset when she made a comment regarding having to feed him and his children for 3 days. D.J. went to the complainant’s sister’s house, pulled her husband outside, and stated he was going to hit him since he couldn’t hit his wife. The victim managed to pull away. D.J. went to his car and began cutting donuts in the parking lot while children watched. The complainant advised D.J. also tried to hit their vehicle with his.
The complainant reported that D.J. Dollar then loaded up his family and fled the scene. The complainant also reported that D.J. said he would whoop their asses when he saw them again and plant drugs and have them busted. D.J. had stated he was untouchable by the law since he was a snitch for the them.

On January 11, Sgt Jason Williams responded to the 4800 block of Faceville Highway in reference to a suspicious vehicle. The vehicle owner advised that the residence he was his mother’s. He reported that after she passed, he let her caretaker, Kathy Cook, and her boyfriend, Tommy Smith, live there until he caught Tommy stealing metal.
On January 16, the complainant reported that the lock had been broken off a shed and the following items were missing: chuck wagon utility vehicle, shop heater, tools, wheel chair lift, trailer hitch, kerosene heater, cultivator seeder plates, red plastic tub with handles, 30 gallon trash can, homemade utility trailer, trailer ball, and 2 stabilizer balls. The total value is $5,425.

State Trooper Brian Palmer stopped a vehicle driven by 30 year-old Anthony Thompson. The Trooper noticed an open container of alcohol in the vehicle. He searched the vehicle and found cocaine and marijuana.
Anthony Bernard Thompson, 30, of 918 Timberlane Road was charged with open container,driving on wrong side of the road, possession of marijuana and possession of cocaine with intent. Rodrick Antwon Hamilton, 30, of 1736 Faceville Hwy was charged with possession of marijuana and possession of cocaine with intent.

Officer Terry Pait responded to a theft at a business on Old Quincy Road. The victim reported that his wallet, containing $800, Visa debit card, MasterCard, and his driver’s license, were stolen. The victim suspected the items may have been stolen by one of his employees.

Sheriff's Captain Greg McMillan responded to a burglary from a semi trailer on Northside Drive. The complainant advised he was keeping an eye on the area when he checked the trailer, which had been locked, and noticed 2 Dewalt screw guns, 1 Dewalt air compressor, a half inch air line, and 2 saws were missing. The complainant also advised the suspect must’ve had a key since the lock had not been tampered with. The total value of the items was $725.

Deputy Steve Black responded to a report of a stolen firearm on the 100 block of Ward Road. The complainant advised her firearm, valued at $150, was stolen from a Victoria Secret box in her bedroom.

Sheriff's Sgt Michael Cox responded to a report of a stolen hand gun at the pecan orchard off Hwy 27 South. The victim stated his truck had been parked and that a Glock model 27 gun was stolen. The value was $600.

Officer Timothy McCain responded to a burglary on the 400 block of S Monroe St. The victim advised she arrived home around 2 pm and that her son was able to easily push the door open. She then noticed that her 46" Sony Bravia TV worth $1800 was missing. The victim was sure she locked the door before leaving he home. The burglar entered the home by throwing a brick through the back bedroom window.

Deputy Christopher Kines was dispatched to the 100 block of Floyd Road regarding a domestic disturbance. The complainant reported that 46 year-old Brenda Wulff came home and began cursing at him and his wife. Brenda, along with her 10 year-old daughter, had been staying with the complainant for a couple of weeks.
While speaking with the complainant, Deputy Kines heard yelling and screaming coming from inside the house. He went in and found Brenda intoxicated and yelling and cursing at the complainants for calling 911.
Deputy Kines repeatedly tried to calm Brenda down, but she continued to yell, stating she wished the complainants were dead. Deputy Kines advised Brenda's daughter, who was crying and visibly upset, to go to her room so she wouldn’t have to hear the commotion. Brenda told Deputy Kines not to talk to her daughter. Deputy Kines told Brenda to go outside and wait for her ride, but, not being capable of calming down, Brenda Renee Wulff, 47, of 1209 Brenda Street was charged with disorderly conduct.

A resident in the 1000 block of East Evans Street reported a theft to Cpl Brian Boyett. The victim reported that a leaf blower worth $500 was stolen from his truck overnight.

Deputy Kenneth Davidson was dispatched to a Tallahassee Hwy Auto Repair in reference to a stolen vehicle. The victim stated that he had paid for repairs done on his 1995 Chevy 1500 truck the previous day and also picked up the key. He was going to return later to pick up the truck. When he did, he found his truck, valued at $1500, along with 4 Duralast Batteries, valued at $375, were missing from the repair shop. The truck was later recovered in Grady County.

Officer Shannon Dunaway responded to a burglary on the 1300 block of Bethel Road. The complainant advised someone had broken into his mother’s house and stole $150 worth of tools. Two screens had been removed from the windows, one window was raised, and storage buckets that were in the house were now outside of the window.
The previous night at about 10:45, the 75 year old victim reported a loud noise in the front of her house. Officer Gregory Brown responded to the call and did a check of the home but did not find anything. The victim stated that after Officer Brown left, a neighbor called to check on her and told her he saw a man leaving the area with a brown bag. The victim wasn’t sure how the intruder got in the house but did advise she left the door unlocked while she was out.

A 33 year old victim reported domestic violence to Cpl Aaron Brown. She stated her husband, Maurice Burney, came home intoxicated wanting to fight. She tried to get him to calm down and go to sleep, but when he woke up he stole her debit card. When she asked for it back, he punched her under her eye, scratched her left arm, and bit her right arm. The victim stated she wanted Maurice out of the house.
When Officer Brown spoke with Maurice about the incident, he advised he just wanted to hold his baby. Officer Brown told him to stay somewhere else a couple of nights until things cooled off. Maurice advised he would stay with his mother. Neither party wanted to press charges.

Officer Timothy McCain responded to a burglary on the 200 block of Louise Street. The victim had been advised her back screen door was open, and when she got home she found a washer/dryer valued at $620 missing from her back porch.

Officer Timothy McCain responded to a car burglary on the 700 block of Potter Street. The victim was working past dark the night before when he noticed the light on in his truck. The sliding back glass on his cab was open, and $25 in tools, $201 in cash, and a CD Box Set of the Golden Age of Pop valued at $180 were missing. He was unable to call Public Safety at the time and waited until the next day.

Sheriff's Captain Brad Lambert responded to a report of counterfeit money at the Quick Buys on Whigham Dairy Road. The complainant reported that a young man had bought $40 in gas for his gold S.U.V. He paid with two $20 bills and immediately left. The bills had the same serial number.

Officer Thomas Foster responded to a theft on the 200 block of W College Street. The victim reported that someone had stolen two 30" almond colored electric ranges, one 18' almond colored refrigerator, and one 25' white colored chest freezer – total value of $600. The items had been left on the front porch of the victim’s storage facility.

Officer Ken Williams and Sgt William Cox were dispatched to the 400 block of East Shotwell Street in reference to a vehicle break in. The complainant stated that someone stole his checkbook from his Ford Heavy Duty Truck and a Georgia child support card, worth $200, from his sister’s 1999 vehicle.

Investigator Marcos Esquivel was dispatched to the 1000 block of Garden Lane in reference to a vehicle break in. The victim reported that she had left her Toyota unlocked overnight and found the driver’s side door open that morning. Approximately $5 was missing from the car.

Sheriff's Captain Greg McMillan was dispatched to Mile Marker 2 of Hwy 309 South in reference to a report of a parked vehicle being partially in the roadway. Captain McMillan found that the driver’s side was partially in the road and, after running the license plate, learned that the vehicle had been reported stolen from Leon County. The car was towed to an impound lot.

The victim reported that the following items, valued at $4560, were missing from her jewelry box – gold hoop earrings, diamond stud earrings, gold wedding band set, narrow wedding band, gold heart shaped diamond ring, gold ring with topaz stone, and a gold rope chain with a gold cross.

Officer Humberto Dean reported to the 900 block of Cheney St in reference to a burglary. The victim stated when she returned home from work at about 10:00 pm she went to log on to her computer and noticed it was missing along with a Sony Playstation she had in her bedroom.

Officer Humberto Dean reported to the 1600 block of Mitchell St in reference to a stolen mountain bike. The complainant stated that his daughter’s bike, valued at $100, was stolen from the front of his apartment. The bike had been left there unsecured.

At about 3 am, Deputy Richard Hughes responded to a vehicle accident on the 100 block of Englehard Road. A semi driver discovered a car had collided with two CSX railcars and reported it to a security guard. The owner of the vehicle showed up a little later and told the deputy that he was asleep when he heard a noise outside his home and found that his 1997 Chevy S-10 truck was missing. The owner said that he and a friend began to look for the vehicle and that's how they found it at BASF.

A car burglary in the 1100 block of Morningside Drive was reported to BPS Sgt. James Dollar. The complainant reported that the previous night someone went through her vehicle and took a small amount of change.

BPS Sgt. David Cutchin and Officer Humberto Dean were dispatched to a local store in reference to a report of disorderly conduct. They found an intoxicated 22 year old Matthew Smith riding around in the handicap scooter. He and 43 year old Sherry Eakin were intoxicated, loud, and using profanity throughout the store. Both were arrested for disorderly conduct and public drunk.

Officer Timothy McCain responded to a theft at the City maintenance shop on Pierce Street. The complainant reported that a battery, valued at $40, had been stolen. The building’s alarm had not been disarmed and the doors and gates had been locked. Employees came in to find the truck’s hood propped open.

Deputy Sam Hughes responded to a burglary on the 100 block of Ward Road. The victim stated he heard someone at the front of his house and when he went to check it that he found the door open. The door was previously left locked. Although nothing was stolen at this time, the victim advised that a gold chain with a charm labeled "Addiebell", gold wedding ring, a gold anniversary ring, a Mason ring, and a gold male wedding band had been stolen between Jan 6-17. The victim later reported that a blue pecan can with $200 worth of change, a ruby ring, and a sterling silver ring were also missing.

Officer Jason Barlow responded to a burglary at the Jamestown Apartments in the 900 block of S. Scott Street. The complainant stated she arrived at the apartment complex to clean and noticed an open window in one of the apartments. When she entered, she found shoes, jeans, and boxer shorts on the bathroom floor. No valuables were taken.

Officer Ken Williams and Cpl Randall Carr were dispatched to the 800 block of MLK Jr Drive in reference to a burglary. The complainant/victim reported he returned home after being in the hospital for two days to find his apartment door open and the A/C unit pushed into the apartment. The victim stated he was missing a 40 caliber hand gun and a glass jar containing $30 in change. The total value was $380. The victim stated a friend was at the residence when the victim went to the hospital so may know something about the burglary. Public Safety spoke to the individual who stated he only received pornographic movies from the victim and he had nothing else.

Officer John Mills was dispatched to the 1300 block of Troupe Street in reference to a burglary. The victim stated he returned home from work and found that 6 sterling silver necklaces, 5 wrist watches, a couple of pair of Gucci and Polo boots, and bottles of liquor had been stolen. The total value was $2400.

Officer William Cox responded to a domestic dispute on the 1000 block of Julia Circle. The victim, age 34, stated she had been arguing with 25 year old Brian Porter when he became irate and began breaking things around the house. Brian had broken several plates in the kitchen, knocked over a flat screen TV, and ransacked a child’s bedroom. After Brian Porter was arrested, the victim wanted to change her story but Porter had confirmed that he did in fact break the items. Bryan Rashawn Porter, 25, was charged with criminal trespass (family violence).

Officer Thomas Foster responded to a stalking reported in the 800 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Drive. The victim, age 30, stated she was walking down Lamar Street when her mother, Shirley King, came up to her and began yelling. Shirley told the victim she had a gun and would shoot her. The two had an altercation earlier when Shirley pepper-sprayed the victim.

Officer Toby Miller responded to a fight on the 1700 block of South West Street. Twenty-five males and females were fighting in the middle of the street with traffic stopped. Juvenile witnesses stated the fight was because Bennie Myrick hit the victim. Bennie was spotted with Desmond Burke in a truck and stopped them. Officer Miller told Desmond he wanted to question him about the incident. Desmond Burke first ignored him and then tried to leave the scene. Desmond was arrested for obstruction.
Later, Bennie confirmed that he hit the victim because she was "running her mouth". The victim advised that her baby had asked about some food Bennie was eating and then Bennie began to cuss and pick at the baby. When she turned to leave, Bennie hit her in the back. Bennie was placed under arrest. Witnesses stated that the incident had actually happened prior that day, and that Bennie and the victim had told family members about it which led to the fight. The arrested parties were released.

Officer Aaron Brown was dispatched to the Quick Buys on Faceville Highway in reference to 29 year old Jimmy Heath Smith walking around the outside of the store with a fire extinguisher. A witness stated Jimmy was tapping on the window with the extinguisher. Jimmy denied tapping on the window.
When Officer Brown searched Jimmy, he found a pocket knife with the tip broken off in his pocket. The tip was found in the store window which was cracked. Jimmy Heath Smith, 29, of 172 Kelly Road was charged with attempted burglary and possession of burglary tools.

Officer William Day responded to a burglary on James Street. The victim stated when he came home he found his kitchen window broken and the front door slightly open. He reported his 32" Panasonic TV and HP laptop were stolen.
Jan 8
Deputy Steve Black was dispatched to Old Whigham Road in reference to a domestic disturbance. The complainant, age 67, advised that her sons, 43 year-old Kenneth Parris and 41 year-old Darrell Parris, had been fighting. According to Kenneth, Darrell came home intoxicated. He was sitting on the bed when Darrell hit him in the mouth. They fought each other, hitting a wall. Darrell got a knife, chased Kenneth outside, and then slashed Kenneth’s tires.
Darrell stated that his brother threw him out of the car on Hwy 27 South. When he got home, he confronted Kenneth, who hit him in the face first. Darrell confirmed that he did slash the tires, but stated he did not chase Kenneth with a knife. While talking with Deputy Black, Darrell stated, "Either someone is going to jail or going to hell tonight." Darrell was placed under arrest for criminal trespass and a child support order.

Deputy Steve Black responded to the 100 block of Ronnie Lambert Road in reference to a stolen firearm. The complainant stated 5 years ago a Winchester Model 250 .22 caliber rifle was stolen out of his vehicle at a work site. The rifle, valued at $350, was a gift from his grandfather, and he had recently found the paperwork with the serial number. The complainant believes a friend stole the rifle and is keeping it at a family member’s house.

Officer Terry Pait responded to a Church regarding theft of copper tubing on the 1000 block of Center Street. The complainant reported that someone removed the shroud from outside of the heating and cooling unit and cut out some of the copper tubing.

Sgt. Chad Bennett was dispatched to the 1800 block of Yates Spring Road in reference to a burglary. The victim stated that someone stole a cast iron pots and pans, water pump, deer stand from his storage shed and a refrigerator and stove from the back porch. One of the back door windows had also been pushed in but not entered. Total value was $625.

A domestic disturbance was reported on the 100 block of Edwards Road. The victim, age 45, reported to Deputy Richard Hughes that she was at a friend’s house for a party when 48 year-old Antonio Weston hit her in the face. A witness confirmed this as well. Antonio advised Deputy Hughes that he caught the victim having an affair with this cousin. When he confronted her at the party, the victim began cursing and hitting him. He then left the house and denies hitting the victim. The victim did not want to press charges.

Sgt. Chad Bennett was dispatched to the 100 block of Recovery Road in reference to a burglary. The complainant/victim reported that an iPod, 2 Xboxes, 12 Xbox games, Sony Vaio laptop, and a Glock pistol (total value $2,190) had been stolen.

At about 11:30 am, Officer Timothy McCain was dispatched to a Calhoun Street business. Devetrice McIntyre reported she came to the business to get her taxes done when she ran into Shiketa Peak. The two got into a verbal argument. The victim left briefly but when she returned the two continued to argue over the paternity of a child. During the argument, Shiketa pepper sprayed the victim with two other people being hit by the mist. Both parties were found at fault based on testimonies from witnesses. Neither wanted to press charges, and they were advised to stay away from each other.

A Dell Road resident reported a burglary to Deputy Christopher Kines over the phone. The victim reported that his brother-in-law had stolen $4155 worth of items from his house including a flat screen TV, DVD player, 2 guitars, amp, 3 rifles, shotgun, Jack Daniels, bottle full of change, tennis bracelet, necklace, iPod docking station, ring, George Foreman Grill, deep fryer, case filled with costume jewelry, purse, 2 pair of earrings, 100 DVDs, and a gold chain. His brother in law was in Sneads custody after stealing his pickup and had admitted to the $4,000 burglary.

Officer Timothy McCain was dispatched to the 800 block of MLK Jr Dr in reference to a burglary. The victim stated she returned home from staying with a friend and found her Sony stereo system and two DVD players missing – total value $675. The intruder entered the apartment by pushing the A/C unit inside and entering through the window.

Officer Shannon Dunaway responded to a theft on MLK. The complainant reported that someone entered a locked area and took some screws out of the heating-A/C unit. When he turned the heat on, it just clicked. Further investigation found that the copper wiring and tubing had been cut and removed from the unit. Total loss was $4,000.

Officer Gary Hines responded to a theft on the 800 block of East Shotwell Street. The complainant reported that a Compaq computer valued at $200 was stolen from the back office of her building along with 3 checks and cash.

Officer Toby Miller responded to a report of a prowler on the 300 block of Godwin Street. The complainant stated she was sleeping when she heard knocks at her door. She did not answer the door and soon after heard her bedroom window being broken. Justin Faulk was questioned, but he stated he was at his sister’s all night, even though there was a conflicting statement from the sister. An investigation continues.

Officers Ken Williams and Rusty Day were dispatched to the 1600 block of E Broughton Street for a criminal trespass. The 50 year-old victim stated his a/c unit had been unbolted, and he feared they would come back and steal it.

Officer Terry Pait responded to a report of theft. The victim reported that she cashed her SSI check and placed the $1,400 in cash in her purse. She had given 2 others, Erica and Sharon (last names unknown) a ride to cash their checks. They each gave the victim $20 in gas money. The victim stopped to get gas and when she returned to her car after paying, Erica and Sharon were gone along with the $1,400 and a Dillard’s credit card - missing from her wallet. The victim did not see Erica and Sharon take the items from her purse. (So Erica and Sharon, I guess you got away with it)

Officer Ken Williams was patrolling Bruton and Campbell Street when he spotted 25 year old Tommy Lee Daniel Jr walking with friends with his undergarments exposed. Officer Williams asked Tommy to pull up his pants to which he complied. As Officer Williams drove off he looked in his rear view mirror to see Tommy laugh and then pull his pants back down. The officer circled the block and arrested Tommy Lee Daniel Jr for indecent exposure.

The complainant reported to Deputy Sam Hughes that a heating and a/c unit had been stolen from one of his rental properties in the 100 block of Smithtown Road. The complainant’s mother discovered the unit was missing while showing the home. The unit was valued at $4800.

Capt. Brad Lambert responded to a theft on the 1300 block of Brinson Colquitt Road. The complainant stated someone had taken the following items from a pasture behind his residence: syrup kettle, metal 4 legged swing, metal t-post, metal stobs, and metal grain bin legs. Total value was $395.

Deputy Michael Cox responded to a report of damaged property on the 100 block of Penelope Drive. The complainant, age 24, stated that on 12/27 he had 22 chickens killed by dogs and on 12/29 he had 6 more killed. The complainant had photos of a chocolate lab, two dachshunds, and a German shepherd in his chicken pen. The chickens were valued at $400.
Deputy Cox spoke with the owners of the two dachshunds and the chocolate lab. Both advised they would keep their dogs locked up. The complainant did not want to press charges.

Deputy Nicholas Godwin was dispatched to the 100 block of Mount Olive Church Road in reference to a theft. The complainant stated someone took a refrigerator, valued at $150, from one of his rental properties.

Sheriff's Captain Greg McMillan responded to a burglary on the 3300 block of Dothan Road. The complainant reported that someone took $1340 worth of jewelry from her home. Items stolen were a gold bracelet, diamond necklace, 4 rings, 2 necklaces, and an anklet.

Officer John Mills was dispatched to the 500 block of West Broughton Street in reference to larceny from a vehicle. The victim reported that $20 and a green iPod valued at $250 were stolen from her vehicle.

Officer Thomas Foster was dispatched to an apartment complex on Palm Street. The Property Manager reported that copper tubing and electrical parts from 22 air conditioning units were stolen along with damage to 6 other units and 2 commercial dryers. The total value of missing and damaged items was $110,000.

Officer Terry Pait was dispatched to the Friendship House on North Russ Street. They reported parts of the heating and air conditioning unit had been stolen. The unit will cost approximately $5000 to replace.

Officer Thomas Foster responded to a theft in the 400 block of College St. The victim reported he loaned his cell phone to a male named Edgar, who left and now refuses to return it.

Officer Gregory Brown was dispatched to the 800 block of Gordon Avenue for a domestic dispute. Angel Handy, age 35, repeatedly attempted to enter the residence but was refused. Officer Brown arrived and find Angel Handy, age 35, to be intoxicated and she began to yell and curse, telling the officer "Just take me to xxcking jail." Angel admitted that she had broken a window during her tirade. Angel was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct.

Officer Jason Barlow responded to a battery reported on the 600 block of Cemetery St. The victim reported that Charles Gordon hit him with a brick twice when he refused to give him money that he claimed the victim owed him. Warrants will be requested for Charles Gordon.

BPS Sgt. David Cutchin was dispatched to the 500 block of Evans Street in reference to a burglary. A male reported that after returning home he found the door to this apartment open and that a 47" Sony Bravia television and a 60" television were missing. The combined value of the TVs is $4,750. There were no signs of forced entry.

Cpl Brian Boyett was dispatched to a car burglary on South Wheat Ave. The complainant reported that two Nintendo DSI XLs and 14 games were stolen from her car. Total value was $605.

Sheriff's Sgt. Jason Williams was dispatched to a burglary on County Line Road. The complainant, age 32, reported that an unknown person removed her AC unit, broke into her home, and stole a bottle of Evan Williams’s whiskey and a bottle of Xanax.

Officer Timothy McCain responded to a domestic dispute on the 2000 block of Meridian Drive. A 32 year old man reported that he was packing his bags to leave after an argument began with his wife. She grabbed his clothes to throw onto the floor when a belt struck her in the face. She then pulled a knife on him. When Officer McCain questioned the wife, she confirmed that she did pull the knife and that her husband did not strike her with the belt. The 3 children in the home stated they saw the argument get worse and their parents fighting over clothes so they went to their rooms. Since the husband did not want to press charges, warrants were not issued against her.

Investigators Redell Walton and Cheryl Roberts responded to a report of fraud at Bishops Travel Center. Christopher Anderson, age 29, attempted to cash a fraudulent check with the assistance of female. Christopher James Anderson, 29, of 14408 Silver Branch Drive. Tallahassee, ws charged with possession stolen property and forgery.

Officer Terry Pait arrested Rakim Boiue, age 23, on MLK Jr Street for indecent exposure. Rakim was wearing sagging blue jeans that exposed his undergarments. He had already been given a verbal warning earlier that day.
