Larry Swett was honored as City of Bainbridge Employee Of The 2nd Quarter.
Below, Public Works Director Al Kelley, Larry Swett and Mayor Edward Reynolds
In a letter of nomination from Steve Winburn, Public Service Director
In the absence of Johnny Broxton, our diesel mechanic, Larry was asked to fill in for Johnny's position in the diesel shop. Because of his extended knowledge and abilities with various vehicles and equipment and his willingness to do what ever was asked of him, made Larry a very dependable employee during this tough time. Larry did an excellent job of keeping all the City's diesel vehicles going with no delay.
He was asked to perform duties which were outside his normal duties and performed each of them above and beyond anyone's expectations. Larry worked extremely hard to keep our trucks and heavy equipment operating. It is employees like Larry who are the backbone of the City.
His enthusiasm for his job surpasses beyond what is expected, Mr. Swett's extraordinary ability to communicate with supervisors and fellow employees as well as his cooperation and eagerness to undertake new assignments makes Larry Swett an asset to the City of Bainbridge. I would like this opportunity to recommend Larry as a brilliant choice for Employee of the Quarter based on this tenacious allegiance to the City of Bainbridge.
