As of July 28, 2007, the Decatur County Community Agenda has been completed by the SW GA Regional Development Center. Lauren Miller, Regional Planner, stated this is the last and most important portion of the Comprehensive Plan for the County and Cities of Attapulgus, Brinson and Climax.

Local officials and citizens will be able to review the document and make suggestions until August 9th, 2007. It will then submitted to the Department of Community Affairs for review. The State requires the Community Agenda to be adopted by all local and county governments by October 31st, 2006.
