In addition to our weekly scheduled times of worship and fellowship, First Christian Church is also involved in other annual events that take place in both the church and in our community. Meet Our Minister
Jeff Stapleton is our senior minister and has been serving First Christian Church in this capacity since February 2006. Jeff is a 1986 graduate of Johnson Bible College in Knoxville, Tennessee. This is also where he met and married his wife, Marie. Marie, in addition to being a minister's wife, teaches in the Special Education Department at Bainbridge High School. They have three grown children. Jeff has served churches in Florida, North Carolina and South Carolina before coming to Bainbridge. He enjoys preaching, teaching and the fellowship of the church. Jeff is also a member of the Bainbridge Ministerial Association. In past years, in addition to pastoring in the local church, he has preached in nursing homes, prisons and on radio. He celebrated his twentieth year of ministry in 2006. |
