The Morningside Preschool program is designed to help 3 and 4 year olds grow academically, emotionally and spiritually.
Morningside Preschool uses Abeka curriculum which gives your child very colorful ways to learn basic language arts, numbers and Bible lessons.
There is still room for your child for the 2009-10 year.
Classes start Monday, August 10
Open House is August 7 from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm.

What is Morningside Preschool?

At Morningside Preschool a child is always learning and developing. Each day brings opportunities to play, investigate, and to express ideas through:
Group Living - Planning, working, and playing in an organized experience so that desirable habits and attitudes, independence, and responsibility are established.
Creative Activities - Self-expression through the use of paints, crayons, manual tools, and other materials.
Field Trips - Visiting points of interest in the community to help the child establish appreciation of people who contribute to his/her life.
Language Experiences - Enjoying stories, verse, conversation, and dramatization.
Health and Safety - Learning good health habits, acquiring an intelligent understanding of safety rules.

Our Schedule

Classes begin at 9:00 am and end at 12:00 noon with early care available beginning at 7:45 am.
All children entering the program must be 3 years old by September 1st and fully potty trained. Those entering the 4 year old program must be 4 by September 1st.
Young 5 year olds who have missed the cut off date to enter Kindergarten are also welcome to enroll.
Wee-Three program is held Tuesday and Thursday. Those entering the Wee 3 program must be 3 by December 31st and potty trained.
3 year old program is held Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
4 year old program is held Monday through Friday.

With a professional, caring staff of teachers and aides, we nuture the social, emotional, cognitive, physical and spiritual development of each child. This enables each child to develop at an individual level so that he/she may develop self-worth, respect for others and a love for learning.
Knowing that parents/guardians are the most significant adults in a child's life, we strive to do all we can to build reciprocal relationships with parents who have entrusted their children into our care

Our Rules

Morningside Preschool reserves the right to terminate a child's enrollment if:
We cannot meet special needs required for that individual child
A child's pattern of behavior is disruptive, aggressive and interferes with the whole class learning
Tuition is not paid in a timely manner
Continued difficulty in adjusting to the school environment-excessive separation anxiety.
