Life has gotten a whole lot better for Joylee since being dumped in the night, in the rain, with her mom and five sibs. Mom (Jami) is a great mom, who stood guard and watched over her babies till help came.
In the United States more than seven million pets are euthanized every year due to pet overpopulation. That's nearly 20,000 pets euthanized each day because there simply are not enough homes for all of them. The Bainbridge - Decatur County Humane Society strongly encourages you to spay/neuter your pets.

Funds are needed for both daily and special needs: veterinary care, spay and neuter, immunizations, shampoo, transportation. On-line donations may be made using PayPal on the Bainbridge Humane Society. PLEASE remember heartworm prevention for you pets!!! Easy to prevent, expensive and sometime dangerous to treat. |

When her mean landlord said NO DOGS, this sweet senior (9) had to come to the shelter. THAT'S not fair she's only a little old lady, who just needs a nice quiet place to retire to. Jeez.

PLEASE REMEMBER TO GIVE YOUR DOG HEARTWORM PREVENTION!!! South GA is one of the worst areas for this preventable problem. Also, the small cost of monthly prevention is nothing compared to the costly sometimes dangerous treatment.
