United Way of Bainbridge Georgia
Bainbridge-Decatur County United Way

In 1973, through the efforts of a large group of citizens concerned that there were needs in the community no being met, the Community Fund was organized. From that group the Bainbridge-Decatur County United Community Fund, Inc. came into being.

In 1987, it became the Bainbridge-Decatur County United Way. Approved by the Internal Revenue Service as a 501(c)3 organization and registered with the Georgia Secretary of State as a non-profit corporation and as a charitable organization.
