The Department of Juvenile Justice (DJJ) provides supervision, detention and a wide range of treatment and educational services for youths referred to the Department by the Juvenile Courts. The Department provides assistance or delinquency prevention services for at-risk youths through collaborative efforts with other public, private and community entities.

The Vision : “Youth served by the Department of Juvenile Justice will be offered the opportunity to achieve their highest potential through proven, innovative and effective programs delivered in appropriate settings by a well trained, professional staff, with a commitment to best practices in juvenile corrections.”
A Bainbridge and Decatur County Juvenile Delinquency Forum was held in February and March of 2008.
